Kevin Smith’s He-Man animated series will allegedly have a female or two female leads. New reporting suggesting that Netflix‘s Masters of the Universe: Revelation series will center around Teela and not Prince Adam. Teela is the Captain of the Royal Guard and the adoptive daughter of Man-At-Arms.

Back in March, an alleged leak synopsis from the show suggested that Adam will be in the series, but, he will be replaced by Teela as the new He-Man or She-Man sometime in the show. However, Smith quickly debunked the report.

As showrunner, I really could’ve used these story suggestions *before* we locked the scripts. However, no – He-Man does no stepping aside and Teela has no girlfriend in our show. The storyline is pretty dark and way metal. Before REVELATION we were calling it END OF THE UNIVERSE.
