Season 4 will adapt the same art style as season 3.

Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 4 is in development. BiliBili made the announcement by releasing a new trailer the show’s upcoming season. Unlike the second season, Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 3 was released in April 2020 and was solely produced by the Chinese Production. The series 4th season will feature the same art style as Season 3 which is different than the previous 2 seasons. The new art style has been praised by fans for matching the original comic art style.

Hitori no Shita: The Outcast or Under one Person is produced by Haoliners Animation League, Tencent Animation & Comics, and Emon. The anime was a collaboration between Chinese and Japanese anime. However, the 3rd season has been solely produced by the Chinese Production team. The series first season was released on July 9, 2016. The second season aired from January 16 to June 26, 2018, and simulcast in Chinese and Japanese.

Yi Ren Zhi Xia (“Under One Person”) or The Outcast is a webcomic by Dong Man Tang and illustrated by Mi Er. It was first published under the title 异人 (Yi Ren, literally: “Weirdo”) and with subtitle King of the Weirdo in Tencent in February 2015.

One day, on his way to visit his grandfather’s grave, Zhang Chulan is attacked by zombies in a graveyard. In the midst of that situation, he is saved by a mysterious girl, who wields kitchen knives in order to kill the enemies. The girl tells Chulan, who is relieved, to face his hardships head on and leaves. However, Chulan later sees that girl again at his university. From that moment, Zhang Chulan’s destiny begins to move. There will be strangers with special powers appearing one by one, with battles involving those abilities. Each episode will bring a new mystery to light.

Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 4 has no release date yet.
